Tipperary, Cork and Dublin Championships to feature in first three weeks
Three weeks of top-class club hurling begins RTÉ’s 2025 Club Championship coverage. First up this weekend is a trip to the home of the All-Ireland Champions as Damian Lawlor presents live coverage on Saturday GAA Live (RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player, 4.00pm) of the Tipperary Hurling Semi Final between Loughmore-Castleiney and Holycross/Ballycahill from Semple Stadium. Throw-in 4.10pm
The following weekend Cork hurling legends Patrick Horgan and Alan Cadogan will join Damian Lawlor on Sunday GAA Live (RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player, 3.00pm) for the Cork Hurling Final from Páirc Uí Chaoimh as Midleton take on Sarsfields. Throw-in 3.15pm.
Saturday GAA Live on Saturday 25 October (RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player, 7.00pm) will feature the Dublin Hurling Final live from Parnell Park. Heavyweights Kilmacud Crokes v Na Fianna and Lucan Sarsfields v Ballyboden St Enda’s face-off in this weekend’s semi-finals.
RTE Radio 1’s Sunday Sport will have coverage each week with reporters at selected County Final venues. This Sunday 12 October, Sunday Sport will feature coverage from the Meath, Donegal, Clare, Sligo and Laois Senior Football Championship Finals. The programme will also feature “A Life in Sport” Interview with Tipperary Hurling legend, Lar Corbett.
