Hyundai renew its sponsorship of Dancing with the Stars
The ninth series of Dancing with the Stars returns to screens in early
2026 and will be proudly sponsored by Hyundai
Filling our Sunday evenings with glitz and glamour from Sunday January 4 on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, the brand-new series will see 12 well-known figures team up with a professional dancer to perform a live routine every week. Each pairing will have a different dancing genre to master every week, from the Charleston to Salsa, and they’ll have just seven days to perfect their routine before performing live to the nation.
Each celebrity couple will be scored by an expert panel of four judges: Oti Mabuse, Brian Redmond, Arthur Gourounlian and Karen Byrne, and as well as the viewing public at home, with the winning couple claiming the much-coveted glitter ball trophy at the end of the series.
The sponsorship deal with Hyundai Ireland includes 396 Hyundai credited stings airing across RTÉ One and RTÉ One +1, as well as during series repeats. It also covers live broadcasts on RTÉ Player, all available catch-up episodes, and sponsor logos on all dedicated promos across television and social media channels.
The package also includes 2 x 10” credited stings which will top and tail the Dancing with the Stars segments on the official radio partner of the series The Laura Fox Show on 2FM which airs weekdays from 9am to 12 noon. The sponsorship deal also includes strip ad placements in the RTÉ Guide during the series run for 11 issues.
