The Lab production unit produces and commissions RTÉ Player Originals.

We’re a small creative team of Content Creators within RTÉ Player, with a wide range of experience in TV and Digital content. Our skills range from producing, directing, ideation, format creation, commissioning and multimedia editing.

We commission a handful of independent productions each year. All content currently produced or commissioned by The Lab is aimed at the 18-35 audience.

What do we want?  
We want fresh, fun, original ideas and formats that are created specifically for a digital audience, made with new and upcoming creators and makers.
