Frequently Asked Questions

How do I complain about a programme?
Complaints about programmes should be submitted in writing and in accordance with BAI Guidelines. For more detailed information, click here.

How do I apply for work experience in RTÉ?
RTÉ has a number of work experience placements available to Transition Year Students during February/March each year. RTÉ deals directly with the schools, not the students. Therefore, students should contact their Transition Year Co-ordinator for details. RTÉ does not offer work experience, but we do run an internship programme which is advertised publicly on our website in January every year. Please note that the Information Office is not in a position to deal with CV or queries in relation to careers in the media. The e-mail for RTÉ Human resources is hrops@rte.ie.

Want to access RTÉ Archives?

RTÉ Archives is making more and more archive content available to explore and enjoy directly through https://www.rte.ie/archives/ and we continue to add new archive stories daily. All this material is searchable on www.rte.ie from anywhere in the world.

Unfortunately, due to resources, copyright, and other reasons, it is not feasible to provide private copies of RTÉ television or radio programmes, or clips from these programmes.

Should you have any licensing or permission requests regarding RTÉ Archives, please email archivesales@rte.ie

How can I get audience tickets?
To apply to take part in an RTÉ programme or be a member of the audience, please consult the Audience Participation section of our website here.
