Steve Carson, Director of RTÉ Video, and other RTÉ service leads will outline our content strategy across our linear and on demand services. We’ll also provide information on the latest audience trends.

Following the business overview, we’ll look at upcoming commissioning opportunities for late 2026 and into 2027.
Programme briefing details:
Independent producers are invited to attend this briefing event in person at RTÉ, Studio 4, Donnybrook or online via Microsoft Teams.
To register, please emailrteipu@rte.ie, specifying whether you will attend in person or online. Due to limited capacity, only two attendees per production company can attend in person, plus only two attendees per production company can register to attend via Microsoft Teams. Please provide the production company name, the names of the attendees, and email addresses for those attending.
A Microsoft Teams invite will be sent before the event. Producers attending via Microsoft Teams are requested to log on in advance to facilitate timely entry to the live event.
For those attending in person please note that car parking on site is limited. We encourage the use of public transport where practical.
Post event:
After the programme briefing, producers will have the opportunity to meet with Genre Heads or their executive producers to discuss ideas.
