Programme proposals or ideas can only be submitted by suppliers who are registered on the
RTÉ eCommissioning system.
All programme proposals or ideas can now be submitted to RTÉ eCommissioning by filling
in a submission form on the web.
Each submission will automatically be routed to the Programme Genre commissioning team
that you choose.
You will be able to store all your programme proposals or ideas in draft form in your “My Draft Submissions”
List until such time as you are ready to submit to RTÉ eCommissioning. You will also be
able to amend your programme proposals or ideas as often as you wish prior to submitting
to RTÉ.
Once you have submitted your programme proposal or idea to RTÉ eCommissioning you will
be able to track online the progress of your individual programme proposals and ideas
within the RTÉ commissioning process.
RTÉ’s commissioning process currently operates on a rolling basis to facilitate the
communication of commissioning priorities (via online commissioning briefs) to the
independent sector where discussions, assessments and final decisions on programme
submissions can be made all year round.
