Programme Briefing outline:
RTÉ Video Overview with Steve Carson, Director of RTÉ Video, who will update on our development regional content strategy across our linear and on-demand services.
RTÉ Regional Development Requirements:
Following the business overview, we will outline the upcoming commissioning opportunities/rounds targeting regional production companies for 2026 within;
Regional Development and Commissioning ;
Targeted rounds and launch of a series of new development initiatives. In addition, there will be updates within:
Scripted Drama
Comedy

Independent producers are invited to attend this briefing event in person at RTÉ Cork, Father Mathew Street , Cork City.
The event will also be live streamed via Microsoft Teams.
To register, please email rteipu@rte.ie, specifying whether you will attend in person or online.
Due to limited capacity, only two attendees per production company can attend in person, plus only two attendees per production company can register to attend via Microsoft Teams.
Please provide the production company name, the names of the attendees, and email addresses for those attending.
A Microsoft Teams invite will be sent before the event. Producers attending via Microsoft Teams are requested to log on in advance to facilitate timely entry to the live event.
For those attending in person please note that car parking is widely available in Cork City Centre. We encourage the use of public transport where practical.
Post event:
After the programme briefing, producers will have the opportunity to meet with Genre Heads in attendance. A light lunch will be provided.
