Life sounds better at Bloom with RTÉ lyric fm
Join Marty, Lorcan, George and the RTÉ lyric fm Quartet live in Phoenix Park
Ireland’s favourite gardening and food festival, Bord Bia Bloom is back in the Phoenix Park this June Bank Holiday Weekend and RTÉ will be there too as RTÉ lyric fm brings music and cheer live over three days from our special stage.
With RTÉ lyric fm’s Marty Whelan, Lorcan Murray and George Hamilton, being joined by the ever-popular RTÉ lyric fm Quartet, along with RTÉ Radio 1’s Countrywide, the RTÉ set will be the place to be.
Bloom favourite, Marty Whelan will be there to kick off RTÉ’s live coverage on Thursday morning 2nd June, with the first of RTÉ lyric fm’s live broadcasts from Bloom with Marty in the Morning at 10.00am. Marty will be followed by two performances from the RTÉ lyric fm Quartet at 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Not to be missed.
The RTÉ lyric fm Quartet will return on Friday for two one-hour live performances at 11.00am and 1.30pm, before Lorcan Murray brings the second day of the festival to a close with Classic Drive live from the set from 3.00pm – 6.00pm.
On Saturday, RTÉ Radio 1’s Countrywide will get things off to an early start at 8.00am, followed by George Hamilton from 10.00am – 1.00pm live from Bloom and on RTÉ lyric fm. The RTÉ lyric fm Quartet will return on Saturday for two final one-hour live performances at 2.30pm and 4.00pm to entertain visitors to the festival.
