THE TOMMY TIERNAN SHOW WINS IN BEST ENTERTAINMENT CATEGORY AT THE CELTIC MEDIA FESTIVAL IN BRITTANY
The first of this year’s prestigious Torc Awards for Excellence were announced yesterday at Celtic Media Festival, The International Summit of Sound and Screen in Quimper, Brittany.
Alongside winners from S4C, BBC Two and BBC Radio Cymru, RTÉ’s The Tommy Tiernan Show took the Torc Award for Best Entertainment.

- The Celtic Media Festival celebrates its 43rd edition in 2022 from the 7th to the 9th of June in Le Chapeau Rouge in Quimper, Brittany, France
- The Celtic Media Festival will be taking place in person for the first time since 2019 in the location originally destined for the 2020 festival.
- The Celtic Media Festival is an annual 3-day summit which combines a major conference of seminars and masterclasses with the presentation of the coveted Torc Awards for Excellence.
- The Torc Awards for Excellence are presented to the best productions in TV, radio, film from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Cornwall, Brittany and Galicia
