RTÉ Receives Multiple IFTA and RTS Irish Television Awards Nominations
The Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) has announced the 2023 IFTA Nominations for the Irish Academy Awards across 28 categories in Film & Drama.
Over the past few months, Irish Academy Members have been busy viewing, deliberating, and shortlisting the very best work from across great Irish films, dramas, performances, and craftsmanship. Nominations have been shortlisted by Irish Academy Members as well as specialist Jury panels of industry experts from around the world.
The Dry, Smother, North Sea Connections and Conversations with Friends have received multiple nominations across the Drama Categories. RTEjr’s animated short Dagda’s Harp was alsno nominated in animated short film category.

RTS Ireland has also announced nominations in 10 categories for this year’s RTS Ireland Television Awards and 30 of these are for RTÉ as listed below.

The 20th Anniversary IFTA Awards Ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 7th in Dublin. IFTA Nominees will be announced at 8.30am (GMT) on Tuesday, 7th March.
