The 2023 Celtic Media Festival concluded yesterday evening in Dungloe, Donegal, as Cardiff in Wales was announced as venue for the 45th Celtic Media Festival in 2024. The Celtic Media Festival – The International Summit of Screen and Sound – drew to a close as the final Torc Awards for Excellence were announced bringing three days of learning, debate, discussion and achievement to an end.
RTÉ RnaG was named Radio Station of the Year, while the highly anticipated Spirit of the Festival award went to critically acclaimed Inscéal’s An Cailín Ciúin with a standing ovation from delegates.
Catriona Logan, Festival Director, said: “What an incredible three days this has been – the Celtic Media Festival is always special but Donegal 2023 has surpassed all of our expectations. From new business deals to incredible productions awarded, we can’t wait to do it all again in Cardiff next year.”
