RTÉ announces details of UEFA EURO 2024 coverage – live and exclusive

RTÉ Sport team includes new signing James McClean, Shay Given, Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whelan, Kevin Doyle, Didi Hamann, Stephanie Roche, Stephen Kelly, Lisa Fallon and Richie Sadlier
UEFA EURO 2024 kicks-off tomorrow Friday 14 June as hosts Germany face Scotland in Munich and all 51 games will be free-to-air, live and exclusive on RTÉ with 45 games live on RTÉ2 & RTÉ Player plus 6 final group games on RTÉ Player & RTÉ News channel. Peter Collins, Joanne Cantwell, Tony O’Donoghue and Jacqui Hurley will present all the action and will be joined in studio by an all-star line-up of panellists.
RTÉ Sport’s coverage will feature personalities well-known to Irish audiences, including our own Euro heroes – Shay Given, Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whelan and Kevin Doyle – plus World Cup Finalist Didi Hamann, along with Stephanie Roche, Stephen Kelly, Lisa Fallon and Richie Sadlier. Making his RTÉ tournament debut is Republic of Ireland centurion James McClean.
All live matches will have RTÉ commentary from a team including Darragh Maloney, Des Curran, George Hamilton, Adrian Eames, John Kenny and Cathal Mullaney with co-commentators Ray Houghton, Ronnie Whelan, Stephen Kelly and Kenny Cunningham.
Joining hosts Germany will be the cream of European football – which includes the defending champions Italy, runners up last time out England, plus France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands and, for only the fourth time, Scotland. Euro 2024 will feature some of world football’s biggest names – Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo, Jude Bellingham, Virgil van Dijk, Harry Kane, Bruno Fernandes and Andy Robertson.
All games will be available live and catch up on the RTÉ Player with RTÉ Sport producing well over 150 hours of live TV programmes over the course of the tournament.
The RTÉ website will provide live blogs, reports, previews and analysis, as well as short highlights of all games so that our audience can always catch up with the latest action and stories. The RTÉ Podcast will also keep listeners informed about all the happenings in Germany.
