Electric Ireland to sponsor Room to Improve
One of Ireland’s favourite shows Room to Improve is back for its sixteenth series and will be proudly sponsored by Electric Ireland. The brand-new series will begin on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player at 9:30pm on Sunday January 5.
In the new series of Room to Improve, architect Dermot Bannon returns with five new designs for five incredible properties with a special bonus episode. Charlestown in Mayo, Palmerstown in Dublin, Aughris in Sligo and North Strand in Dublin are the locations for each property. This year, we see Claire Irwin return as Quantity Surveyor. With soaring costs on materials around the country and budgets being pushed, Claire has to work harder to make sure everyone gets their dream home on budget and on time.
Four families from across Ireland have chosen Dermot as the architect for their new feature build with everyone challenged to keep within budget and comply with tight timing and planning deadlines. There’s a bonus episode this year featuring former Dancing with the Stars judge Julian Benson, as he prepares to open a dedicated facility in Dublin for the families of Cystic Fibrosis patients
The sponsorship deal with Electric Ireland includes 90 Electric Ireland credited stings airing across RTÉ One and RTÉ One +1, as well as during series repeats. It also covers live broadcasts on RTÉ Player, all available catch-up episodes, and sponsor logos on all dedicated promos across television and social media channels.
Five new episodes of Room to Improve will air throughout the New Year starting on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player from Sunday January 5.
