Here is your host, Patrick Kielty!
As he prepares to visit Washington, Taoiseach Micheál Martin will be in studio to discuss why he is going to meet Donald Trump; the turbulent start to the new Dáil and his plans on how to tackle the housing crisis.
Also joining The Late Late Show on Friday night are two icons of stage and screen, multi-award winners Jessica Lange and Ed Harris. Starring in the adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s classic, Long Day’s Journey into Night, two of the most talented actors of our time are in town for the world premiere of the film at the Dublin International Film Festival. They will speak with Patrick about their time shooting the film in Wicklow, connections with Ireland, and their careers in Hollywood and on Broadway.
Actor Danny Dyer will be in studio on Friday night ahead of his new movie Marching Powder. Danny will be chatting about life since Albert Square, capturing hearts as Freddie Jones in Rivals, and why he’s decided to run a caravan park this summer with his daughter Dani.
Sarah Corbett Lynch will be on the show to talk about her memoir A Time for Truth about her father Jason Corbett. Jason was killed nearly ten years ago in North Carolina by Sarah’s stepmother Molly Martens and Molly’s father Tom Martens. They were released last year after pleading guilty to manslaughter. Sarah will join Patrick to tell her story.
The immensely talented country music and blues singer from Donegal, Muireann Bradley will be joining Patrick on Friday’s Late Late show to perform Delia.
