Three awards were presented to RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta broadcasters at the Oireachtas Communications Awards in Ulster Hall, Belfast, on Wednesday night during Oireachtas na Samhna.
- Radio Personality of the Year 2025 was awarded to Dónall Mac Ruairí, presenter of Cóisir Cheoil, who provides listeners with soulful nourishment through his wide-ranging music selections each week.
- Radio Series of the Year was awarded to Tús Áite, the evening current affairs programme presented by Fachtna Ó Drisceoil, which discusses and analyses the day’s major news stories.
- Journalist of the Year was awarded to Cuan Ó Seireadáin, Political Organiser at RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, for his reporting and analysis of major news and political stories throughout the year.
The Oireachtas Communications Awards celebrate excellence and broadcasting achievements in the Irish-language communications sector each year. These awards recognise presenters, producers, journalists, columnists, and creators of radio and television programmes who have made outstanding contributions across various media fields over the past twelve months.
