It’s time to play The Money List! Baz Ashmawy is back at the helm as the quiz returns for a fourth season
The Money List begins Sunday 22 March at 7:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player
The Money List returns this weekend with its fourth season and a new bunch of contestants in with a chance of winning big money. The series will air Sunday evenings, kicking off on Sunday 22 March at 7:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
The quiz show will see teams of two complete strangers face one another in a challenge to fill in missing answers on a list. The topic of these lists could be anything from 80s films to people named in Roy Keane’s autobiographies, so it is anyone’s game. The more lists they complete, the more money they win.
The Money List presenter Baz Ashmawy said: “I am so excited about the return of The Money List, I had such a ball making it. Ireland’s not short of great characters and we’ve loads of them this season. I think people are in for a treat.”
The first team to win two lists gets to play the Money List for €15,000 where every correct answer is a step closer to the top cash prize. The players can decide to bank their winnings or risk it all trying to reach the prize pot. However, one wrong answer could see them walk away with nothing. As the champions progress on The Money List, and keep on winning, they can keep on earning until another team of contestants knocks them out.
In episode one, it’s all to play for as Simona from Mayo and John from Dublin take on Deirdre from Wexford and Liam from Dublin for the chance to win big. The winning team will go on to face new challengers, JJ from Louth and Kate from Cork. Tune in to find out if our strangers are a dream team or a mismatch.
The Money List returns on Sunday 22 March at 7.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
