Further to RTÉ’s statement released yesterday and in the interest of full transparency, with the full permission of Derek Mooney, we are now publishing the details of Derek’s earnings for the years 2020 – 2023.  
Derek Mooney’s full earnings* are below for the period for 2020 – 2023 inclusive

  • 2020 – €195,079
  • 2021 – €187,854
  • 2022 – €188,885
  • 2023 – €192,592

RTÉ is also providing the Top 10 Highest Earning Presenters lists as published for the same years for information.  Decisions made on the compilation of the Top 10 Highest Earning Presenters were made by RTÉ, with no involvement by Derek Mooney.

* Employee earnings listed include salaries, employer pension contribution and related benefits.
