Commenting, RTÉ Director-General, Dee Forbes said: “While we have not been able to organise public events as part of Culture Night on RTÉ this year, we have produced an exciting and diverse programme across our television, radio and online services which celebrates artists, performers, writers, directors, producers and the production teams behind the scenes at all levels, all over the country. As we welcome the reopening of our venues and spaces, this year’s Culture Night provides a unique occasion to acknowledge the richness and diversity of arts, culture and creativity in Ireland as well as the vital role they play in our lives. RTÉ is proud to support with a bespoke Culture Night on RTÉ campaign as well as through our the RTÉ Supporting the Arts scheme, which has been a vital support to the arts and cultural sectors throughout the pandemic.”
Culture Night on RTÉ is kindly supported by the Arts Council.
