The Big House Quiz kicks-off on the RTÉ Player tonight!
Play along with some of Ireland’s best-known faces including Vogue Williams, Marty Morrissey and Derry Girls’ Nicola Coughlan and see if you can beat the celebrity, and your friends and family, at The Big House Quiz.
The RTÉ Player has your entertainment sorted this weekend with a brand new interactive quiz. Available every Friday and Saturday at 6pm for the next three weeks, it’s perfect to play from the comfort of your own house at a time that suits you.
Each week a different celebrity will take on the role of quizmaster, with Vogue Williams kicking-off proceedings tonight. Amy Huberman, Deirdre O’Kane, Marty Morrissey, Nicola Coughlan, and Greg O’Shea are all lined-up to take you through the rounds over the coming weeks.
A far cry from the glossy studio shows these celebs may be used to taking part in, this literally is a homemade quiz. Not a single member of cast or crew left their houses to make it. Each episode was recorded via video chat, with Vogue calling in from her pad in London, Nicola was at home in her bedroom in Galway and Marty was out the back in his shed in Co Clare!
Speaking about taking part in The Big House Quiz Williams said: “I hope you all enjoy The Big House Quiz, it was interesting filming this at home without the usual crews and production teams but it was also great to be able to stay connected with everyone.”
Taking part in tonight’s episode will be comedians Michael Fry versus Jen Hatton and her fiancé Adam but you can play along too. The interactive answer forms will be available on rte.ie/entertainment, so make sure you click back to join in the fun.
On Saturday, April 18, it’s the turn of Derry Girls star Nicola Coughlan, with comedian Sinéad Quinlan versus Enya Martin and her mam!
A new episode of The Big House Quiz launches on the RTÉ Player every Friday and Saturday at 6pm for the next 3 weeks.
